It’s natural to feel a bit nervous before your test—most people do! Rest assured, your instructor will be by your side throughout the entire process to support and guide you.
DMV-Compliant Vehicle
All vehicles used for DMV test services comply with California DMV requirements and are properly registered and insured. Your assigned instructor will provide an approved training vehicle for a safe and smooth testing experience.

Please Note: Our pricing is based on your pick-up and drop-off locations, with our Downtown LA office as the reference point. For example:
Situation 1: If you're picked up in Downtown LA and take your driving test at the Culver City DMV, the total charge is $225.
Situation 2: If you're picked up in Santa Monica and take your driving test at the Culver City DMV, the total charge is $240.

Dress Code: Please dress comfortably and choose your footwear wisely. Opt for cozy, non-slip shoes to ensure excellent control of the vehicle and maintain safety on the road.
CA Licensed: We are a fully licensed and registered driving school in California– Lic# E0677
Insured & Registered: Vehicles used for instruction are properly registered and insured, and comply with California DMV requirements for driving instruction.
Vehicle Policy: Students may not use personal vehicles unless approved in advance by Oxford Driving School. Instruction will be conducted using the assigned instructor's training vehicle.
Passenger Policy: To comply with insurance requirements, no additional passengers are allowed during instruction.

To ensure a smooth and efficient lesson experience, payment is required at the beginning of the service. We accept:

To secure your appointment, a $50 deposit is required. This deposit will be refunded on the next business day after your first appointment is completed, provided there are no policy violations.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance, including in cases of illness. If you notify us less than 48 hours before your appointment, a $50 fee will be charged, and your deposit will not be refunded. This policy applies to all students, both new and returning. For returning students with a card on file, the $50 fee will be charged to that card if notice is not given at least 48 hours in advance.
For Last-Minute Appointments: If you schedule an appointment less than 48 hours before the appointment time, please note that this appointment cannot be canceled or rescheduled after booking, as the cancellation window has passed.

Our standard DMV test service usually lasts between 2 ½ to 3 hours. An additional charge will apply if the session extends beyond 3 hours due to unforeseen delays.
